| This application vividly shows the flexability of the box adapter approach. The connector that the customer needed to test with was odd shaped and very difficult to hold onto. Cirris fabricated the vertical assembly to hold the connector in position for ease of testing. The connector is hardwired down to the adapter board (at the bottom of the box) with the wires hidden and protected by the box. |
A circular Military connector is mounted to the top of the box adapter with all wires hidden and protected by the box. This connector type was one of the first applications used for this type of special box adapter. |
Two PCB transition connectors (51 and 100 pos.) can be tested with one test block. Two screws hold the 51 pos. locating plate securely. This plate helps locate the connector being tested in proper position for good smooth contact with the test pogo pins.
