The Signature 1100R+ benchtop cable and harness tester packs impressive capabilities into a small, easy-to-use package that fits almost any budget..
Assure Quality Assemblies: Much more than just a simple continuity scanner, the 1100R+ allows you to thoroughly test all aspects of your cables or harnesses. With a resistance range from .005 to 100K ohms you can truly verify the quality of your connections. Embedded components in your cables? No problem. The 1100R+ learns and tests resistors, diodes, and capacitors.
Expands to Meet Your Needs: Snap on expansion boxes allow you to expand your 1100R+ from 128 to 1024 test points, in 128 point increments.
Interchangeable Adapter Cards: Choose from over 200 standard adapters which plug directly into the tester, eliminating the need for troublesome adapter cables.
Catch Intermittents: The 1100R+'s fast scanning rate makes it ideal for finding intermittent shorts and opens by flexing the cable while testing.
Easy-to-Use: The large 4 line x 20 character display and simple, menu-driven software make the 1100R+ simple to use for any level operator. You create test programs by learning from a sample assembly, or by downloading from a PC through the serial port using CTL-Win software.
Which End Error Detection: Provides valuable troubleshooting and re- work information by determining which end of the cable has an open or short.
4-Wire Kelvin Testing: Test resistance as low as .005 ohms and eliminate the resistance of interface wiring by using the 1100R+in 4-wire mode. (Requires two test points per connection.)
PC Software: CTL-Win software allows you to link the 1100R+ to your PC to create, edit and save test programs. With CTL (Cirris Test Language) commands you can write custom test programs to control the tester from a PC.
Graphical Wiring Schematics: Use CTL-Win software to create Graphical Wiring Schematic Reports of your cables. A graphical library of all standard Cirris adapters is included with the software. You can print the graphical reports, or save them electronically as a PDF file for e-mailing.
This item is an expansion box for our 1100R test system. You can order up to 7 expansion boxes to increase the size of your system up to 1024 test points. This option is ideal for testing larger backplane or harness applications. Each box has 128 points and plugs in quickly and efficiently with a cable (included with the box). Please call if you are going to increase your system to the full 1024 test points as we have cabling and mounting options to repackage the physical size. Hint: the two options are Torpedo style or the 4x4 style.
By using scripting you can make the tester extremely flexible and customize a test process to fit a unique task. The following list gives examples for using scripts:
This software allows the operation of the Easy Touch, 1100R+ & 1100H+ systems in a client server environment. This server software can be installed on Windows XP (Professional) and Windows 7 (Professional), Windows Server 2003, Windows Server 2008. Cirris Server Software allows centralized management of the single database file to be accessed and used by all test stations. The software provides centralized management of Security Settings, Test Programs, and Test Reports data. You can manage your tester needs from any client connected to the Cirris Server Software. Server and Clients must be running the same version.
The Slide-Lock Scanner allows operators to lock adapters in place without using a removable cover plate. Locking slides hold adapters firmly in place to reduce connector wear.
"SPC Data Collection" is an optional feature used on the 1100R+, 1100H+, and Touch1 model cable testers. It is used to collect a wide variety of test data through your qualified Cirris testers electronically. You are then able to format, print, and extrapolate test data using third party SPC data processing programs or your own spreadsheet. Many of our customers use SPC Data collection to analyze and improve their product quality and to generate reports for either their customers or an in-house management team. For more information go to http://www.cirris.com/software/software-options.html
