What is the Decker Lake Wetlands Preserve Foundation?
The Foundation is a nonprofit, citizen-based group whose mission is to:
- Build a partnership between the community, business, and government
- Restore and preserve the biodiversity of the lake
- Promote community participation in preserving the lake as an educational resource and natural preserve

What's Involved in the Decker Lake Project?
- Restoration of a 35-acre lake in West Valley City bound by about 40 acres of undeveloped land, Decker Lake Business Park, and I-215
- Creation of a wildlife refuge/habitat for migratory birds
- Development of the lake as an educational resource, including interpretive nature trail and exhibits
