Cirris Systems Sales Team (Nov 2011)
Recently a number of personnel changes have been implemented in the Cirris Sales Team. We thought it might be time to introduce the changes and the sales team in a more overt way. We have a remarkable group of people in our sales group. Many of our sales people have worked at Cirris for over 20 years! This month we bid goodbye to Kent Rast who is retiring at the end of November. Kent has worked for Cirris for over 21 years! We will miss his competent, good natured personality and wish him the best as he rides off into the sunset.

Darin was recently made the National Sales Manager at Cirris Systems and now enjoys hours of daily meetings. (Ok, enjoy, might be too strong a word.) Darin is full of energy and enthusiasm for improving customer experiences with Cirris. He is our resident expert on our easy-wire software and other related products. He has often been "the voice" on many Cirris videos. |
John Ahlstrom

He speaks fluent Spanish and travels extensively visiting Cirris customers and business partners throughout the world. He has seen the transformation of Cirris from primarily a U.S. company to a truly global one. John is also a Trustee for the Cirris 401(k) retirement plan and enjoys assisting in the administration of the 401(k). |
Brent Stringham

Brent recently moved into the newly created role of Director of Business Development at Cirris. If you have ever visited the Cirris booth at an industry tradeshow over the years, you most likely have met and talked with Brent. In addition to his role at Cirris, Brent serves as an advisory Board member of the Wiring Harness Manufacturers Association (WHMA). |

Ray Mumma

When Cirris purchased Omni a number of years ago Ray agreed to work with us to help our new Omni customers extend the life of their older Omni testers for as long as possible. Ray is an excellent addition to the Cirris sales team and we are pleased to have him with us. Recently, Ray has agreed to lend his considerable skills to our marketing department. |
Bill Downton

His expertise is called on regularly to write custom scripts, or to explain the complexities of test systems integration or perhaps to help a customer troubleshoot a perplexing problem they are struggling with. Bill is also involved with our new "Customs Group" which plans, designs, and fabricates custom solutions for demanding test situations. |

Rich has worked in sales positions in other industries and found he enjoyed the person to person relationships. He moved to Utah from the East Coast 22 years ago and has been working with Cirris Systems ever since. Rich is service oriented and works hard to provide consistent, responsive support to all his customers. About 14 years ago Cirris began to develop a webpage. Because Rich had interest and some experience in this area he was invited to be part of the e-team which oversees the web development at Cirris. |

Joe has many talents. Perhaps one that stands out above others is his willingness to help anyone at anytime. You can always count on Joe to be cheerful and helpful. He was invited to be one of the people who oversee our ESOP program in the company. (a very challenging assignment)! Joe also handles all tradeshow related preparations for Cirris. This is another large assignment but Joe is always willing to step up to the plate. |
Kent Rast

We have discovered that Kent is really a frustrated mechanical engineer. He loves to design and build mechanical devices that solve problems. Kent has been a charter member of our "Customs Group". This group plans, designs, and fabricates custom solutions for customers with difficult applications. Kent is very detail oriented and has played a pivotal role in keeping Cirris' practices and procedure manuals accurate and up-to-date. He will be missed! |

We have all heard the quote, "Behind every great man is a great woman". Well in Debbie's case, she is the super women behind 9 good men. Debbie has so many responsibilities, and things to look after, we hesitate to try and list them all. Essentially, she is the glue that keeps the whole sales department working together. Debbie is always cheerful and happy to help anyone with whatever project that needs attention. |
