| A-620 Test Update | |
In July IPC published the new Revision A of the A-620 Standard "Requirements for Acceptance for Cables and Harnesses" now available through IPC and WHMA. We updated information on A-620 "default" electrical test requirements and answered a number of questions that people might have to help them better understand the requirements. See the details and how to contact IPC and WHMA at A-620 Cable Testing Standard Work continues on the A-620 at APEX (LA, California February 20-21 2007) where IPC will hold committee meetings to begin a handbook to help people with A-620 and continue developing the Space Addendum. The A-620 training and certification program for Rev A has recently been updated by IPC and materials will be published before the end of the year. For more details, contact Jack Crawford at IPC. |

| How to Capture a Bad Cable | |
In last month's newsletter we explained how bad cables get put in the "good bin" due to habit capture errors.   You can see one way of eliminating this problem by using a detector on your bad-cable bin. To see how this is done view our video: Bin Alarm |
